As discussed in the plans above, Ben had bought some old wheels for the mini that he had hoped to restore. After some deliberation we decided to continue with Ben’s plans and had the sent the wheels away to Lepson Ltd.

They kindly did not charge for any labour, only for the parts required to carry out the work. They did an absolutely amazing job in making the wheels look brand new! Luckily Dad had taken a picture of one of the old wheels on his phone so you can see the difference!

Also a massive thank you to Kent Volkswagen, who arranged for the wheels to be sent off and also covered the cost for this so we didn’t spend a penny!
